The Suite Spot

The Suite Spot

Title: The Suite Spot
Author: Trish Doller
Style:  Romantic Comedy, Contemporary
Rating: 4/5

Rachel is a single mom who decides to uproot her life and move across the country to Ohio to help manage a new hotel.  When she arrives on Kelley's Island she meets Mason who appears to be a bit reserved and not only does he know nothing about how to run a hotel, the hotel isn't even fully built. Rachel decides to help anyway because it's a chance to rebuild her own life and eventually have her dream job.

This quick and adorable read was everything I'd hoped it'd be.  I loved Float Plan and was excited to read a story about the other Beck sister. I love stories where romance isn't the main centerpiece but instead the characters go through their own hardships and lean on each other as they grow and work through their own adversities.  Trish Doller also does a wonderful job of covering some pretty tough and heavy topics. I feel like this was a story of taking chances, friendship, family, love and concurring the past. This is the kind of story where I don't want to say goodbye to the characters and wish I could see what they are doing in a few years. I would also love to visit the fictional hotel Mason and Rachel create. Highly recommend it.
