The Passing Storm Review

Title: The Passing Storm
Author: Christine Nolfi
Style: Contemporary
Rating: 3/5

“We are each many people in a lifetime. We slip through versions of ourselves, no more staying in place than a fast-moving river.”

The Passing Storm is a beautiful story about love, loss, grief, forgiveness and resilience. When Rae was a teenager she lost her mother due to a tragic winter storm and she carries that trauma into her adult life.  When Rae's path collides with teenager Quinn she decides to let him move in after his parents throw him out. Rae has an army of people who love her and with their help she begins to heal from her grief and past.  The characters are thoughtful, caring, strong and relatable.  The story will leave you feeling all emotions at once.
