The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue Review

Title: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
Author:
V.E. Schwab
Style:
Fantasy
Rating:
4/5

“Being forgotten, she thinks, is a bit like going mad. You begin to wonder what is real, if you are real. After all, how can a thing be real if it cannot be remembered?”

In 1714 a Addie LaRue makes a bargain with one of the gods of darkness and she is cursed. She is able to live forever but no one will remember who she is. She spends the next 300 years living a pretty extraordinary life full of adventure that spans across the world attempting to leave her mark everywhere. One day she stumbles into a book store and a man remembers her.

I loved everything about this book! I thought the story was well thought out and beautifully written. The plot and characters well developed. I loved how Addie tried to leave her mark across centuries and across the world. I loved the romance between her and Henry and the romance between her and darkness. I highly recommend this book.
