The Guest List Review

Title: The Guest List
Author: Lisa Foley
Type: Thriller/Myster
Pages: 320

What is this book about?
Jules Keengan writes for a magazine and Will Slater is a famous TV show star.  They seem to be perfect for each other. They decide to get married on a remote island in Ireland.  To get there, you must go by boat and cell service is spotty.  Friends and family come to celebrate.  The guest list contains about 150 people.  It’s clear from the beginning that there are secrets among the guests and before you know it someone is dead.  What are these secrets, who was killed and who is the killer?

What did I think?
I found the story to be a little slow but the character development is really good.  It’s told from multiple points of view and the author did a wonderful job of distinguishing between them.  It was fun to see how all the characters were connected.  It also went from past to present and while the story was slow, it also flowed nicely.  I loved the ending and did not see I coming at all.  I highly recommend this one.
