"My point is...if you want something, go after it. Don't let fear hold you back. Take your chance. Live a life of no regrets."
Daisy is a strong independent woman and software engineer who just wants to live a single life but her Dad and Aunties have other plans and want to arrange a marriage for her. Liam is a businessman with something to prove. When Liam's grandfather dies and decides to leave the family business to him with the condition he's married by his birthday, Liam is desperate. It seems like a fake engagement and marriage would solve both of their problems. There's just one problem. Daisy hates Liam, her brother's former best friend, because of something he did over a decade ago. They decide to move ahead with the fake engagement anyway. What could possibly go wrong?
The Dating Plan is a book I didn't know I needed. There are two types of romance plots I like: they are fake relationships and enemies to lovers. I am also a big fan of a slow relationship build. This book checked all those boxes. I also laughed A LOT! I also felt giddy as these characters fell in love and learned about themselves and each other. They both helped each other learn to better themselves. When I finished I found myself feeling a little sad because I wanted to keep following their lives. This book was so good I read it in just over 24 hours. Highly recommended!
