What's not to love about a world with magic doors that take you into different universes. Anyone at any time can stroll though one of these doors and end up in a completely different place from where they came.

The writing style is different from what I am used to. Almost poetic but I absolutely loved it all the same. The story was a little slow in the beginning but once it picked up I couldn't stop reading.  I love the characters' bravery and resilience. I found the story to be unique... like nothing I've read before. I could see the story unfolding like a movie in my mind.  I would love for this to be adapted someday.  I will definitely be reading other novels by this author.
