Look Closer Review

Title: Look Closer
Author: David Ellis
Style:   Thriller
Rating: 5/5

**Thank you NetGalley and G.P. Putnam's Sons for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.  Look Closer publishes on July 5th.

What a wild ride that was!  I feel kind of bad for my family because once I started this book I ignored all responsibilities until I was finished.  I am going to give a very basic synopsis because I highly suggest going into this one blind but buckle up because calling it a roller coaster would be an understatement. Simon and Vicky are a well respected married couple with a 20 million dollar trust fund that will be available once the couple has been married for ten years but someone is holding a decade long grudge and wants revenge.

Look Closer is the perfect name for this new thriller by David Ellis because it's full of so many layers with so many twists and turns you pretty much need a flow chart or a Venn Diagram to figure out what is going on. I lost track of the number of times I said "WTF is going on?" This is a well defined; unique story about deceit and revenge with multiple POV and dual timelines. I could not put it down! I am not sure why I haven't read this author before but all his books will be going on my tbr. This book was brilliant and I highly recommend you read it ASAP.
