When Leeds meets Layla he knows that she's his soulmate and that he's destined to spend the rest of his life with her.  When an unforeseen attack leaves Layla feeling emotionally and mentally drained, Leeds feels like he's losing the woman he loves. He takes her to the bed and breakfast where they met hoping they can reconnect when something unexpected happens and Leeds begins to question everything.

I went into this book with low expectations because I have seen mixed reviews on this book.  That's being said, I enjoyed this story.  I thought the storyline was unique and fast paced. Colleen Hoover did a great job intertwining paranormal romance with a bit of mystery and psychological thriller. I don't want to say much more because I don't want to ruin the story for others.  While this isn't my favorite CoHo book I still enjoyed it and recommend it to those that want to read something a bit different.
