“They say love and hate are the same, just at different ends of the blade”

Devon Richards and Chiamaka Adebayo are the only two black kids at an expensive private school and were chosen to be two of the prefects for the school. The year is starting off great until everyone starts receiving text messages from an anonymous person who calls themselves Aces who appears to be airing Devon and Chimaka's dirty laundry.

This story is told in dual POV's and the characters have their own voices. It was easy to distinguish between the two.  I found both of the main characters to be persistent, brave, ambitious, and courageous. The overall story is easy to follow, pulls you in and is fast paced. It's thought provoking and explores institutionalized racism and while it's at an extreme level within this book it's still something that happens everyday.  I feel like this is a must read for everyone.  Loved it.
